Inspired by his father Byron Black, DFW-based drummer, producer, and utility player Andre Black fell in love with music at a young age, specifically the drums and the art of percussion. Drawing inspiration from various styles of music including jazz, R&B, funk, and rock and roll, Black delivers a unique style of playing by breaking the rules of technicality and introducing a lyrical style of drumming that is full of unexpected dynamic and finesse. 

Though he is known for being behind the kit, he’s become a force behind the board as well. Producing tracks for artists like David Morgan and Matthew McNeal as well as mixing + mastering for artists all across the country, you’re just as likely to hear his drumming as you are his production work.
