Matte Black Sound Company is an independent record label, studio, and audio production company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned and operated by Andre Black and Matthew McNeal, MBSC aims to break the mold of what traditional labels, studios, and production teams look like by approaching all things audio with a level of utmost care and respect. Whether it’s the recordings we release as a label, producing recordings and podcasts for our clients, or capturing sounds and scoring for film and television, we refuse to sacrifice quality or authenticity of the art itself.
